The One With All the Cheesecakes
After several years away in Russia, scientist David returns to romance Phoebe. Meanwhile, Rachel and Chandler chase cheesecake; and Monica crashes her cousin’s wedding., Rachel and Chandler get hooked on cheesecakes., Chandler and Rachel can’t help eating the irresistible cheesecakes that are meant for a neighbour., Phoebe berates Joey after he cancels dinner with her for a date. But her high moral ground soon collapses when her ex-boyfriend David (Hank Azaria) turns up for one night of passion before heading back to Russia. Meanwhile, Chandler and Rachel pig out on a neighbour’s cheesecake that was mistakenly delivered to Chandler. They feel bad, but not quite guilty enough to refrain from eating a second one that has also been wrongly delivered., After several years away in Russia, scientist David (Hank Azaria) returns to romance Phoebe. Upon finding out that David has come back to New York — albeit only for one day — Phoebe is determined to have a passionate reunion. Only one problem, however: Phoebe is currently supposed to have dinner with Joey (Matt LeBlanc). Elsewhere, Ross (David Schwimmer) must play peacemaker when Monica (Courteney Cox) is upset over not being invited to a relative’s wedding. And in keeping with the title of the episode, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) have trouble resisting temptation when several cheesecakes are delivered to the apartment by accident.
