Sibling rivalry takes to the screen when Stephanie gets the part in the TV commercial for which D.J. was auditioning. D.J.: Candace Cameron. Danny: Bob Saget. Joey: David Coulier. Jesse: John Stamos., Despite the negative experience of appearing in a TV promo in the previous episode, DJ (Candace Cameron) accepts the leading role in her school play–and is convinced that she is on the road to stardom. DJ begs Danny (Bob Saget) to let her audition for a TV cereal commercial, only to be consumed by jealousy when her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) gets the job instead. This is the first episode in which Stephanie utters her familiar catchphrase “How rude”–and rude DJ is, in abundance, until Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (David Coulier) step in to resolve the problem., Bit by the acting bug after performing the lead role in a school play, DJ begs her father to let her audition for a cereal commercial. An unexpected turn of events causes trouble when Stephanie who accompanies DJ and Jesse to the audition catches the director’s eye and lands the part.
