Never Trust a Little Old Lady
Oliver (Eddie Albert) is anxious to get an accurate weather forecast so that he will know the proper time to plant his tomato crop. Unfortunately, the only local sources are a singing radio weatherman and a TV weather show featuring a Swiss clock containing a life-sized figurine (actually a little old lady) — and the forecasts from both sources are woefully inaccurate. The result: Oliver spends the night nursing a passel of sick tomatoes, and Eb (Tom Lester) dons a bathing suit during an Arctic cold snap., A singing weatherman confuses Oliver, who starts to plant his crop.
