Crucial to the evil scheme is Horton’s murderous mentoring of escaped criminal Lisa Halle (played by Meilani Paul, the then-wife of series star Adrian Paul). Things come to a head when Pete Wilder (Martin Cummins), the man who saved Richie’s life, is killed — and it looks as though Duncan is responsible.
