A woman who dreams of performing at the Met pursues an opera lover on safari in Africa who can make her wish come true., In this musical, a nightclub singer secretly aspires to sing at the Met. To help her, her agent decides to dress her up as “Ooga-Hunga, the Bird Girl” and send her off on a merry chase of an influential opera lover who has gone on an African Safari. When the Great White Hunter sees her, he is truly agog and at last she fulfills her lifelong goal.
