To that end, Luchesi prevails upon the agents to infiltrate an international writers’ conference and retrieve the precious “Plotkin Manuscript.” Unfortunately, there is an abundance of sinister-looking Russians who seem determined to prevent the manuscript from falling into the right hands-and that’s only one aspect of this prickly assignment.
