Sparkie
Real life animal welfare drama based in Ireland., Michael meets a Bichon Frise who needs its tonsils taken out and Andrea is in Cork helping the ISPCA with some horses in need. For humans getting your tonsils out is a common condition but in dogs it is very rare, but Sparkie the Bichon is in good hands with veterinarian surgeon Jerry O’Riordan. The ISPCA are overwhelmed with the number of abandoned horses all over Ireland and in Cork welfare officer Lisa O’Donovan is hard at work rescuing two more neglected horses. Bairbre O’Malley surgery is full of surprises, as we met an Eagle with an injured talon.
