Driving Mrs. Fortescue
After listening to Emmet’s piano playing from her garden, stopping a passer-by to listen with her and rebuking Liz for collecting milk in her dressing gown, Hyacinth recieves a phone call from Mrs Fortescue asking for a lift into town., Hyacinth sees a chance to increase her social standing when an influential woman asks her a favor—but the plan backfires. Richard: Clive Swift., Hyacinth (Patricia Routledge) seeks to impress the elderly Mrs. Fortescue (Jean Anderson) whose sister married a baronet, when she asks her for a ride into town.
