Hyacinth (Patricia Routledge) volunteers to pick up the Ladies’ Luncheon Club guest speaker, an “internationally famous” commodore (Nigel Davenport), at the train station. After much searching she learns she has missed his train, and not only that, he has already arrived and has finished his speech.
