Director Shinsuke Sato’s historical war epic is an adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s manga series of the same name. Kento Yamazaki stars as Li Xin, an orphan who becomes a distinguished war general that assists the Qin emperor (Ryô Yoshizawa) in his efforts to consolidate the warring states and establish the first unified Chinese empire., An orphan becomes a distinguished war general under the Qin emperor. He goes on to play a critical role in the latter’s efforts to reclaim the throne, consolidate the warring states, and establish the first unified Chinese empire, after a fateful encounter.
