A scientist determined to find extraterrestrial life makes an amazing discovery in this sci-fi drama from director Rakesh Roshan. Sending signals into space in hopes of discovering intelligent life in the universe, scientist Sanjay Mehra (Roshan) receives the surprise of his life when a UFO appears in the sky over his small town. Although a sudden, horrific accident causes the death of Sanjay before he can enjoy his discovery, his wife, Sonia, lives to give birth to Rohit (Hrithik Roshan), the couple’s only son. Mentally handicapped and ridiculed with the sole exception of sympathetic friend Nisha (Preity Zinta), Rohit soon makes a startling discovery in the form of his father’s old computer. As Rohit and Nisha begin experimenting with the compelling programs that Rohit’s father had created, a massive blackout and a subsequent UFO sighting lead the young pair to wonder if they have gotten in over their heads., A developmentally-challenged man named Rohit discovers his late father’s computer, which had previously been used to contact beings from space. He and the mayor’s daughter soon encounter an alien left behind by its kind, but their lives become chaotic as they try to protect it., A young man finds his scientist-father’s old computer which was programmed to communicate with aliens and is able to summon a spacecraft to Earth. It doesn’t stay long, but manages to leave a crew member behind.
