Caroline and Gillian discover they were born on the same day, but their respective birthday celebrations descend into chaos when John outs Caroline and Kate., Alan is unsure who should be his best man; Caroline focuses on her relationship with Kate; a devastated John turns to Gillian for sympathy and informs Celia that her daughter is a lesbian.
