When the gangsters learned her real identity, they forced Drucker to kill her in exchange for sparing the life of his jailed son. To ADAs McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Borgia (Annie Parisse), the businessman represents their only leverage against the Latino hoodlums of L-12, but Drucker refuses to testify for fear of hurting his boy., Fontana and Green probe the murder of an undercover journalist who was investigating a notorious Latino gang. The trail leads to a father who was coerced into committing murder to protect his jailbird son., The show follows a crime, ususally adapted from current headlines, from two separate vantage points. The first half of the show concentrates on the investigation of the crime by the police, the second half follows the prosecution of the crime in court.
