Crews and Reese investigate an apparent hate crime involving three Persian-Americans, two of whom were killed while the other was kidnapped. Elsewhere, Ted frets over Crews’ impulsive decision to buy a solar farm after having a strange dream., Whilst investigating the possibly racially-motivated murder of two Persian students whose bodies are found at a gas station, Crews discovers that Dani’s father was on the SWAT team during the LA Bank robbery. Ted and Olivia are stranded overnight at a solar farm when Crews instructs Ted to purchase one for him as an investment., Crews and Dani believe they have a race hate crime on their hands when two Iranian-Americans are killed and a third is kidnapped, but the reality turns out to involve drugs, money and a young man’s desperate efforts to win his mother’s affection.
