Someone Please Love Me
Charles visits a rancher (Charles Cioffi) unnerved by his favorite son’s death. Leslie Harper: Jenny Sullivan. Samantha: Kyle Richards. Thomas: Bobby Rolofson. Gargan: Eddie Quillan. Sandy: Edwin Owens., During a horse-buying trip to Sleepy Eye, Charles meets up with Brett Harper, one of the state’s best horse breeders. However, Harper’s alcoholism has taken a deep toll on the family, which is coming apart because of the lack of a strong head of the household., While out of town to buy horses, Charles Ingalls boards with Brett Harper, a man emotionally withdrawn from his family trying to lose himself in work & whiskey., While staying with the family of Brett Harper (Charles Cioffi), from whom he hopes to purchase a horse, Charles (Michael Landon) is approached by Brett’s two children. The younger Harpers beg Charles to help them prevent their parents from splitting up. But since Brett has become a drunken recluse due to the death of his favorite son, even someone as perceptive and compassionate as Charles may not be able to mend things between Brett and his long-suffering wife, Leslie (Jenny Sullivan).
