Schooled in Murder
Barnaby and Jones investigate the death of a woman at a dairy., When a woman is crushed to death by a giant round of cheese at the home of the world-famous Midsomer Blue, Barnaby and Jones are soon on the case. Debbie Moffett worked at the dairy, founded by her colleague Jim Caxton, who seems more anxious about his precious cheese than Debbie’s death. Later, Debbie’s lover Oliver Ordish is garrotted with cheese wire and covered with cheese fly larvae. Jones then discovers that dairy owner Gregory Brantner was paying the dead man a consultancy fee. That night Gregory goes to investigate an alarm at the dairy and is stabbed through the heart with a cheese needle. Can Barnaby and Jones stop the killer before the bitterness of the past leads to yet more agonising deaths?
