Tom Spicer has Fragile X syndrome – an anxiety-causing learning disorder that makes life a constant challenge. His brother and sister, William (who also directs) and Kate, want to do something special for him and decide that setting up a meeting between him an Ulrich could be a great way of helping him to come out of his shell. And so the family sets off across the US in an RV, trying to catch up with Lars at one of his shows. But their quest is fraught with difficulties; getting Lars to speak to them proves complicated – as William and Kate thought it might be – but what they anticipated less was how difficult the journey would be for Tom. As his anxieties become more and more aggravated, the siblings come to question whether it was responsible for them to bring him on the trip in the first place. Will the journey prove to have been severely misconceived? Or will they be able to get in contact with Lars, and make the whole thing worth it?
