Mr. Monk And The 12th Man

Only after two more people have died does Monk (Tony Shalhoub) discover the unifying link of the eleven homicides: All of the victims had served on the same jury. Normally, the most likely suspect would be the defendant in the trial–except that said defendant had been found not guilty! Racing against time, Monk tries to figure out if the twelfth juror is the actual culprit…or the next intended victim., A string of seemingly unrelated murders catches Monk’s attention, as does a dry cleaner, who irks him by sewing on his jacket button the wrong way. Meanwhile, Sharona basks in the glow of her new beau’s status as deputy mayor., Adrian Monk is a highly gifted detective whose career is jeopardised by his overwhelming fear of germs, crowds, small places, and almost everything else…(although he’s making progress on milk). Monk’s disorder was triggered by the murder of his beloved wife, Trudy, which continues to haunt him as the only unsolved mystery in his career. Ordered to take a leave of absence from the police department, Monk hires Sharona, a nurse who helps him try to get reinstated on the force, and in the process, becomes an unlikely Dr. Watson to his Sherlock Holmes. When the police department find themselves unable to crack a high-profile case, they have no choice but to bring back the only man for the job…phobias and all., Stottlemeyer asks Adrian to help investigate a string of murders, and before long they discover the victims were all members of the same jury. Meanwhile, Sharona dates the deputy mayor.
