Adrian Monk is a highly gifted detective whose career is jeopardised by his overwhelming fear of germs, crowds, small places, and almost everything else…(although he’s making progress on milk). Monk’s disorder was triggered by the murder of his beloved wife, Trudy, which continues to haunt him as the only unsolved mystery in his career. Despite his animosity toward Christie, Monk manages to figure out that Edna was, indeed, murdered–but NOT for what seems to be the most obvious motive.
