A pretty school teacher named Mala (Rani Mukherjee) becomes the victim of the unwanted advances of an evil man named Raja (Shadab Khan). When she rejects him, he rapes her. The teacher then takes him to court but to her horror the judge compels her to marry the rapist as part of the punishment. She does so and the rest of the film is about how she wins him and his equally evil family over by her goodness., Raja rapes Mala and the court orders him to marry her. Raja’s family continues to torture Mala and attempts to kill her. However, with her good deeds, she manages to win over Raja and his family., Mala gets involved in her friend’s boyfriend troubles and gets raped by Raja for her efforts. A court order forces Raja to marry Mala and she goes to live in his home. Her father-in-law leaves town after ordering the other family members to pressure Mala into running away from home., A woman is forced to marry a man that beat and raped her. The abuse continues when she moves in with his family. Will she stand up for herself?
