Rupert in Dreamland
Rupert discovers that his friend Podgy Pig is falling asleep on the spot when his family take Podgy out for a picnic. Podgy confesses that the reason for this is that he stayed awake for as long as possible because he was always having the start of the same terrible nightmare with unimaginable horrors. His refusal to see the nightmare through to a finish leads to the Sandman entering the scene to try to help Podgy out of this lack of sleep.
