Saathiya is the story of Aditya, a young rich boy, who falls in love with Suhani, a medical student. Suhani however brushes off Aditya’s overtures, but later accept. But opposition from parents forces the couple apart. The separation is unbearable and they get married in secret. But is marriage really the happy ending?, Aditya (Vivek Oberoi) and Suhani (Rani Mukherjee) are deeply in love, though when their parents meet to arrange the marriage, questions of class soon begin to bring out the worst in everyone.
