Tom Cavanagh (“Ed”) guest stars as J.D.’s older brother, a likable rascal whose surprise Halloween visit spooks his sibling. Elliot: Sarah Chalke. Dr. Cox: John C. McGinley. Janitor: Neil Flynn. Dr. Wen: Charles Chun., A visit by J.D.’s brother Dan causes them to re-examine their relationship. Dr. Cox teaches Turk how to separate his feelings for his patients. J.D. & Turk end up spending Halloween at a bar, JD gets a surprise visit from his brother Dan and becomes jealous when he begins to hit it off with Elliot. Meanwhile, Turk feels guilty about a bet he has with Dr Cox about the success – or otherwise – of an operation on one of his patients., J.D.’s elder brother Dan comes to town, and the pair are forced to re-examine their relationship.
