Waking Quinn
Dr. Quinn experiences a series of hallucinations after Stormy electrocutes him., When Stormy throws a series of electrical objects into the Sealab lounging pool, Dr. Quinn is repeatedly shocked to near death in this episode modeled loosely on the surreal Richard Linklater film Waking Life. As Dr. Quinn struggles to regain consciousness and escape being cooked alive, his increasingly bizarre hallucinations mirror everything from Apocalypse Now to the story of Jonah and the whale. Perhaps by the time Stormy has finished constructing his homemade tesla coil, he will realize that the pool is not a proper place to share his enthusiasm for electronics — probably not.
