The Dog
American comedy. Jerry is forced to take in a stranger’s boisterous dog. While he is dog-bound, Elaine and George discover their relationship is dependent on Jerry., On the plane back to New York from his parents’ house, Jerry is roped into taking a sick man’s pet dog, while George and Elaine discover they don’t have much in common., When a fellow passenger on an airplane is removed for a medical emergency, Jerry finds himself forced into volunteering to look after the man’s dog. Elaine and George are reduced to a twosome while Jerry stays home with the mangy mutt, and, as a result, realize that they have nothing to talk about without Jerry around. Joseph Maher and Marvin Wright-Bay guest star. Originally airing October 9, 1991, “The Dog” was the third episode taped for the third season, despite being the fourth one shown., Jerry’s gig as a dog sitter provides some time alone to George and Elaine, who find they have little to say.
