The Wallet
When his parents come to town, Jerry finds himself combating several annoyances. First, Uncle Leo shows up with the watch that he found in the trash, the same watch that the Seinfelds had given Jerry and he subsequently threw away for not keeping correct time. Then, after a doctor’s visit, Jerry’s father Morty becomes convinced that his wallet has been stolen. Meanwhile, George attempts to negotiate a deal with the executives at NBC, only to have it blow up in his face. Originally airing September 23, 1992, “The Wallet, Part 1” was the fifth episode of the show’s fourth season and the first in a two-parter that continued the following week., Jerry finds himself walking on eggshells when he tries to explain to his parents the disappearance of a watch they gave him. George trials his negotiating techniques.
