Sisko’s promotion leaves Dax in charge of the Defiant. Odo is tempted by a fellow shapeshifter., On DS9, Odo is reunited with the female shape-shifter who once took away his changeling abilities; this time she shifts his loyalties to the Dominion., Sisko’s promotion results in Dax being given command of the Defiant and Odo’s loyalty to the Federation is tested by a fellow shape-shifter promising a reunion with the Founders., Still on board the Dominion-controlled DS9 (now renamed Terok Nor), Kira, Jake, Rom, and Odo continue their campaign to turn the Cardassians against the Dominion and vice versa.
