While searching for an ancient geothermal drilling station on the ocean floor, the team unknowingly awakens a Wraith queen who has lain dormant for thousands of years., An underwater mission has the team searching for an alternate power source in the Atlantean ocean., Once awake, the queen activates a self-destruct mechanism on her ship. If the team fails to prevent the resulting explosion over the thin layer of crust the drilling station sits on, it could ignite a catastrophic chain reaction.
