In his efforts to prevent the bugs from invading earth, O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) must destroy Thor’s vessel, the Beliskner–and, possibly, himself as well. Against his explicit orders, O’Neill’s SG-1 team joins their leader in his suicidal mission. This final episode of Stargate SG-1’s third season ends with the traditional cliffhanger, which of course would not be resolved until the beginning of Season Four., SG-1 face their most formidable foe yet, a creature of mass destruction that not even the Asgard can control.
