A cowboy is mistaken for the leader of a local outlaw gang. Being the spitting image of the leader in question, the cowboy assumes his identity in an effort to bring the criminals to justice. But trouble arises as the real leader returns., In this western, Roy Rogers plays both the villain and the hero. The trouble begins when the gang of rustlers runs across good Rogers and mistake him for their wicked leader. He plays along so he can bring the gang to justice.
