Truth Be Told
The castaways play “Swahili Scramble” for reward. They each must find nine Swahili words hidden in letters on a board and then use them to solve a clue. The reward includes the chance to deliver medical supplies to an AIDS hospital. The “Second Chance” immunity contest combines elements from previous challenges, including an obstacle course and using bows and arrows. The 12th person is voted out of the game at tribal council. Jeff Probst is the host., Six days and five players remain as Survivor: Africa enters the home stretch. The redoubtable Lex wins the Final Reward Challenge, and with it some impressive prizes and privileges. The last remaining member of the old Samburuu tribe makes a startling confession — and not surprisingly, this revelation proves to be this particular contestant’s undoing. Which brings us to the final four players, members all of the former Boran tribe — including the one player that many viewers fervently hoped would have been booted off long ago.
