It’s a Turtle?!
The castaways compete for a reward that includes a feast and overnight stay on a yacht that is moored within sight of the losers back at camp. At tribal council, another person is voted off of the islands. Jeff Probst is the host., Michelle Yi is gone, leaving nine contestants to vie for the grand prize in the waning days of Survivor: Fiji. Earl Cole would seem to have the inside track for victory, largely due to his remarkable skill at brokering alliances. The winner of the “Get Smashed Q&A” challenge is Cassandra Franklin, who invites several of her friends to share her reward, a festive day on a 70-foot luxury yacht. Elsewhere, Yau-Man Chan earns the season’s first individual immunity after winning an endurance test involving two walls and a very tiny connecting foothold; and Mookie Lee is mighty sore about being bundled off to Exile Island. The episode ends with the first official tribal council of the newly merged Bula Bula tribe–and of course, with another player voted off the island.
