Sweeney finally lands it big when he’s offered a national cable timeslot on the condition he drops the characters he uses for his stand up acts. As it was an offer he couldn’t refuse, he takes the job and soon finds himself being hunted down by the characters he created., Steve Sweeney, an old standup comedian known for his colorful characters, finally lands it big when he gets offered a national cable timeslot with the only caveat being that he stops doing the characters he created.
