Tango

This Oscar-nominated drama stars Miguel Angel Sola as brilliant tango dancer Mario Suarez. Fantasy and reality are intertwined as the aging dancer decides to make a film about the passions behind the tango in an effort to put his troubles behind him. Mario becomes entranced by the leading lady (Mia Maestro) he auditions, who also happens to be a gangster’s girlfriend. Cecilia Narova., Combining fiction and documentary, Argentine film director Mario Suarez moves to Buenos Aires and begins work on a film about the tango. Problems arise when he begins to take an interest in one of the actresses. Famed tango dancers appear to depict passions, sorrows, and the history of Argentina.
