Tarzan, Jane and Cheta take off to New York City after Boy is kidnapped by a devious circus owner. During the visit, suited Tarzan causes a scene–to say the least–in a courtroom, on skyscrapers, the Brooklyn Bridge, et. al. Though John Weissmuller plays the title role, original screen Tarzan Elmo Lincoln appears in a cameo and Maureen O’Sullivan makes her final appearance as Jane., Circus owner Buck kidnaps Boy and takes him to New York to perform in his show. Tarzan and Jane follow to rescue Boy. In a custody hearing Tarzan gets violent and is jailed. Does Tarzan save Boy?, Tarzan takes a bite of the Big Apple in this fish-out-of-water adventure. Boy has been kidnapped for a touring circus, but Tarzan has vowed to get him back to the safety of the crocodile-infested jungle., When Sheffield gets snatched by a show business menace and dragged to the Big Apple, Tarzan, Jane, and Cheta follow along, hoping to rescue him. Before long, however, Weissmuller is hauled into court for not having officially married O’Sullivan and for not having officially adopted Sheffield., Boy is snatched by a circus man, and Tarzan is off to rescue him in the Big Apple.
