Actor Bernard Fox (Bewitched, Titanic etc.) makes his first appearance as Malcolm Merriwether, British valet par excellance. Ticketed for reckless bicycling in Mayberry, Malcolm is unable to pay his fine. Thus, he graciously works off his debt to society by serving as Andy’s valet and chauffeur, inadvertently turning the Taylor household on its ear with his own special brand of social propriety.
