Johnny’s efforts to retrieve four teenagers from a collapsed mine shaft are complicated when recurring visions of his past force him to confront painful family issues., In the first episode of a two-part story, Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) joins forces with Sheriff Bannerman (Chris Bruno) to rescue four teens, trapped in a cave-in at an abandoned copper mine. For Johnny, the rescue mission is an act of redemption: The mine was once owned by his grandfather, whose shoddy, cost-cutting workmanship resulted in a similarly disastrous cave-in back in 1949. Meanwhile, Bannerman, who has begun to suspect that there is something between his wife and Johnny (Nicole de Boer), experiences a disturbing vision., When a group of teenagers become trapped in a mine, Johnny and Walt attempt a daring rescue.
