This is the only episode in which the oft-ignored Betty Rubble is made center of attention (though it still doesn’t earn her her own “designer” pill in the Flintstones Vitamin bottle!) Hoping to raise enough money to purchase a gift for her husband, Betty disguises herself as “Mrs. O’Lady” an applies for a job that is open only to elderly female applicants. What Betty doesn’t know is that she has been set up as a go-between for her new boss, who happens to be a counterfeiter!, To earn money for a gift for Barney, Betty answers an ad that seeks an elderly woman to purchase everyday goods using large-denomination bills—which turn out to be counterfeit., Betty disguises herself as an old lady when she answers a job advertisement for an elderly lady – but her employers are not all that they seem.
