The Girls’ Night Out
Fred accidentally becomes a rock star and idol to a group of teenagers when he makes a record of his singing at an amusement park., Fred and Barney take Wilma and Betty to an amusement park, where Fred whimsically sings a tune called “The Rockin’ Bird” in a “record-your-own-voice” booth. The song is heard by a talent agent known as The Colonel (whose most recent client was a “boy with sideburns”), and before long Fred has been transformed into the latest singing sensation, “Hi Fye.” Unfortunately, fame quickly goes to Fred’s head, obliging Wilma and Betty to sabotage his career., Fred and Barney treat the wives to a night out at the amusement park, where Fred cuts a record in a novelty booth. When the song turns into a big hit, he becomes a singing idol (rechristened Hi-Fye) and goes on tour with his new manager.
