Blind Ambitions
Polly Holliday of Alice and Flo fame guest stars as Lily, the fiercely independent sister of Rose Nylund (Betty White). Although she has recently gone blind, the stubborn Lily insists upon doing everything for herself, just as she always has — thus setting the stage for a near-disaster. Elsewhere, the girls try to raise money for a new TV by holding a garage sale, only to discover their sentimental attachment to virtually every one of the sales items., Rose’s blind sister comes to visit., Rose’s sister Lily, who is blind, comes to Miami to visit. The girls have a garage sale in the meantime, but an accident makes them realize all is not well with Lily., Rose’s sister, independent all her life, can’t accept the fact that she’s now blind and needs help.
