When the Lodge sells a thousand tickets in anticipation of Gleason’s appearance, a desperate Ralph and Ed head down to the hotel where the cast of The Jackie Gleason Show is rehearsing, hoping to persuade Jackie into performing gratis. The boys fail in their efforts, but Ralph’s wife Alice saves the day in an unexpected fashion.
