Joltin’ George
George bigmouths himself into a fight with an obviously better boxer. George: Sherman Hemsley. Louise: Isabel Sanford. Marcus: Ernest Harden Jr., After his employee Marcus (Ernest Harden Jr.) is beaten up, George Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley) offers to teach the boy how to box. Hoping to bolster Marcus’ confidence (and his own ego), George brags about his youthful reputation as “Joltin’ George,” the boy with the fastest fists in the neighborhood. Alas, George is forced to prove his pugilistic prowess when he runs afoul of a tough guy at the local gym. This episode represents the final series appearance of Ernest Harden Jr.
