Inspired by a true story, the directorial debut of filmmaker Mark Young tells the tale of a young black man who is railroaded by police following the 1965 Watts riots, and subsequently forced to endure a year’s probation at an all-white seminary. His demons wrestling with his destiny, the man (Cedric Sanders) struggles to remain strong in the face of incredible adversity.
