Some of My Best Friends Are Rhoda
As the result of a minor fender-bender, Mary (Mary Tyler Moore) strikes up a friendship with Joanne Forbes (Mary Frann). It doesn’t take long for the ever-neurotic Rhoda (Valerie Harper) to become jealous over the fact that her best pal Mary is spending all her time with her new acquaintance. Ultimately, however, Mary comes to realize that Joanne’s effusive charm can be turned on and off like a faucet.
