Seeds of destruction
Genetically engineered corn is causing defects in animals., The biotechnical company Macroseed has developed TX-40, which is designed to make corn crops grow faster. The company tests out TX-40 in the tiny farming town of Hobson, whose farmers are delighted by the results. But local veterinarian Linda Andrews (Jessica Tuck) fears that TX-40 may be the cause of some less than desirable side effects — among them the creation of horrific mutated animals. “Seeds of Destruction” was first broadcast on March 3, 2000.
