Ellenor develops complications with her pregnancy that require a referral to Dr. Ben Gideon (Andre Braugher) in a storyline that crosses over into “Gideon’s Crossing.” Meanwhile, Bobby defends a man accused of killing his 16-year-old stepdaughter; and Gamble’s rape case goes to trial—before a decidedly hostile judge (Charles Napier), who might force the terrified 11-year-old victim (Alexandra Kyle) to testify in the presence of the rapist.
