Gordon Eastman takes his cameras to the Arctic Circle to film the raising of wolves, from infant captivity to freedom in the wild., A pack of wolves are raised from the age of two months by Gordon Eastman. Two years later, they are put back in their natural habitat to fend for themselves. Unsure of how to hunt down a running deer, the man’s dog gives the wolves their first real hunting lesson. He receives another batch of wolf cubs from a veteran trapper who travels 50 miles to deliver the howling balls of fur. Spectacular scenery of the Canadian arctic region is shown. The grown wolves eventually make a successful transition into nature in this entertaining and educational drama.
