It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad Hotel
Set in Boston’s swankiest hotel, this series follows a pair of twins who cannot help getting into trouble. The boys move into a hotel suite with their mom after she gets a job there as a cabaret singer, and love their luxurious new surroundings. However, the other guests and the hotel manager are not so thrilled with the arrival of the troublesome two. Zack and Cody are on the hunt for some treasure, left in the hotel by a 40s gangster., The boys search for the ill-gotten loot of a gangster named Alphonse “Hot Peppers” DeLeo after Muriel (Estelle Harris) leads them to believe that the treasure is hidden somewhere in the Tipton., The boys find an old newspaper clipping tucked behind an oil painting. It tells of a treasure ’40s gangster Peppers left in the hotel. They embark on a hunt for it, then realise that the treasure Peppers was talking about was a human one – Muriel the housekeeper.
