Wolverine and Herbie fight an alien overlord in the Negative Zone while the Squad work to rescue them., As a result of a battle between Nebula and Thanos for the Space Stone, Wolverine and H. E. R. B. I. E. are sent to the Negative Zone – where they must battle Annihilus. Meanwhile the other members of the Superhero Squad attempt to save them.
