Karla became pregnant and Serge immediately sought legal means of running her out of town, claiming she was sexually promiscuous. He soon married a financially stable woman. Karla ended up a prostitute and her child died. It wasn’t until later that she married an older millionaire. Upon her husband’s death, Karla began her scheme of revenge. Now she demands his head in return for her financial assistance to the town. At first the locals are angry at the proposal–then slowly begin to consider her offer.
